I was at the Nanaimo City Hall on Saturday to participate in the anti-SOGI demo and was assaulted by a large man from the trans activist side.
The police took my statement directly after the event, and the perpetrator was immediately apprehended.
RCMP told me that he surrendered himself and admitted to the crime, then was let go. They said he was under order not to go near me.

He has a court date scheduled for December 19 in Nanaimo
